Forget Me Not By Sarah Daltry

Forget Me Not (Flowering, #1)

Lily had a crush on her brother's best friend, Derek for years - which led to their steamy night ten months ago in her bedroom. Now, Lily is going off to college and she and Derek are still going strong. However, when school starts, she realizes it's hard to maintain a relationship while also trying to live her own life. She and Derek find themselves falling apart and Lily has no idea where to turn.

Enter Jack. Everything about him is wrong for Lily and she knows it, but she can't stop herself from being attracted to him. When things implode with Derek, it's Jack who is there to pick up the pieces - and show Lily an entirely new set of experiences she didn't know she was missing.

Of course, Jack has his own problems and once Lily gets to know him better, she starts to wonder if she can handle all of Jack. When Derek reappears on the scene, Lily is forced to decide between two guys and herself. Can she find herself without losing the people who matter in the process?

LIly has been With Derek since her birthday almost a year ago. You can read all about how their romance started in the Novella: My Brother's Best Friend. Well now that Lily is starting college she decides she doesn't want to go to the same school as her boyfriend and her brother. So that's where this story begins.

As Lily starts her freshmen year of college nothing is how she thought it would be. She misses Derek and it's not getting any easier considering he doesn't really have time for her anymore.

Enter Jack, the bad boy who wants her he just wants her to learn how much she wants him, too. I love Jack because he's no nonsense get to the f'n point kind of guy. He's been through a lot in his life and I just wanted him to get his HEA.

I really liked this book, I was so sure that Sarah was going to go one way, but she would completely fool me and would go the other. I was surprised by many of the things that happened as well. Their is PLENTY of angst so no need to worry if that's what you want out of a book, just because this a College/New Age kind of book,  I promise theirs a lot to look forward to!

4 STARS!!! Because I CANNOT wait to get my hands on the next book!

Burning Attraction By Ashley Beale

Burning Attraction (Cassie Series, #1)

Cassandra (Cassie) McKnight is starting college with her best friend, and room mate, Aubrey. Life is suppose to be about a few good parties, fun with friends, and working hard in school. The last thing Cassie wants is to fall in love, at least right off, but in the first few weeks everything changes.

Cassie finds a perfect romance with Carson Woods, a fraternity brother who treats her with the way she always dreamed of. Although everything is perfect between the two, Cassie can't control the love she has for Avery Manning, her childhood crush, who after six years kept his promise of coming back to be with her.

While sorting through the mess of Carson and Avery, Cassie uses Pierce Danielson, Avery's sexy rival in the underground fights, to be her escape from reality. The worse party of using him, is accidently having feelings for him.

With the help of Aubrey, Cassie has to make a tough decision on who and what she wants, without loosing any of the men who have consumed her heart. Burning Attraction is a story of love, lust, and loss.

Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance

This title is recommended for mature readers, 17+ years in age, due to intense sexual situations and language.

Cassie is what I would call a love em and leave kind of girl. Ever since her first love and best friend Avery moved away when she was a little girl she hasn't been wanting anything more than to live her teenage years to the fullest.

Her first week of college she find herself in a pseudo-relationship with Carson, the frat guy. He treats her how every girl would want and she fins herself falling for him. That is, until, Avery steps back into her life and shows her a side of him she didn't know. Now she's keeping secrets, going to underground, fights and bouncing back in forth between her childhood love and her modern day Mr. Right.

Now, Ashley Beale DID NOT want to make this story easy on us AT ALL. Lol. Because she just happens to throw in yet another hot-ass guy by the name of Pierce. Pierce is Avery;s rival in the underground boxing league and he wants Cassie just as bad as the other two. I got whiplash from all the bouncing around that Cassie did. I know she wanted to live the whole college experience up, but damn she just can't keep the men away from her.

Cassie finds herself breaking hearts along with her own. I felt bad for her then I felt like she caused it upon herself. I didn't know who I wanted her to choose and by the end I finally had my answer. I hope that the next book plays out how I wish it would, but we all know that it isn't about what I want.

4.5 STARS!! For keeping me on my toes. I had so many emotions about this book I still asking questions....

Author Bio:
C.M. Stunich was raised under a cover of fog in the area known simply as Eureka, CA. A mysterious place, this strange, arboreal land nursed Caitlin's (yes, that's her name!) desire to write strange fiction novels about wicked monsters, magical trains, and Nemean Lions (Google it!). She currently enjoys drag queens, having too many cats, and tribalbellydance.

Always a fan of the indie scene and 'sticking it to the man,' Ms. Stunich decided to take the road less traveled and forgo the traditional publishing route. You can be assured though that she received several rejections as to ensure her proper place in the world of writers before taking up a friend's offer to start a publishing company. Sarian Royal was born, and Ms. Stunich's books slowly transformed from mere baking chocolate to full blown tortes with hand sculpted fondant flowers.

C.M. is a writer obsessed with delivering the very best and scours her mind on a regular basis to select the most unusual stories for the outside world.

“What in the holy hell is wrong with that woman?” Austin asks, shading his eyes against the harsh burn of the sun.  My helmet's still on, and I'm peering out the visor at the remnants of Mireya Sawyer's soul.  They're scattered across the yellow desert for all of Triple M to see, laid bare and sizzling hot.  Even if I didn't know her as well as I do, I could see that she's bleeding inside, hurtin' so hard she can't breathe.  My first instinct is to cross the dry ground that separates us and take her into my arms, whisper into her hair and tell her that everyone's going to be okay, that I'll take care of her forever.
She'd probably kick me in the fucking nuts.
A smile teases the edge of my lips as I rub at the broken heart tattoo on my shoulder.  Austin isn't happy about the sudden stop, but I don't mind.  I'd do anything forMireya Sawyer.  Even wait around for ten plus friggin' years while she pined for my best friend.
“Should I go talk to her?” Amy Cross asks, sneaking up between Austin and me, and curling her delicate fingers around his arm.  Brunette hair whips around her face, hiding the expression of concern that's there, genuine and sympathetic.  She's a miracle that, girl.  The one person on this earth that I think is capable of handling Austin.  She's calm, collected, and she don't hold no fucking grudge against Mireya.  I feel good knowing she's Austin's soul mate.  I just hope he's aware of how lucky he is.
“Nah,” I say, watching through the visor, waiting with my breath caught in my chest for that day that might never come, for the day that Mireya Sawyer looks me in the eyes and tells me she loves me right back.  I've told her before.  Just once.  It didn't go over so well.  I plan on doing it again, but I don't know when.  If I have to, I'll wait another ten years.  I'd rather not, thank you very much, but I will.  I'd wait forever if I had to.
I glance over at Beck who's busy checking out Amy's ass.  When Austin sees, he growls low in his throat and our friend backs off, running his hand through his red hair and chuckling.  Dumb as a Goddamn doornail, but ten times tougher.  I really believe that Beck could take out twenty men by himself.  Wouldn't surprise me a bit.
“She's just … dealing with some old shit,” I say as Austin sighs and glances back at the group behind us.  Triple M.  Our family.  Our friends.  The people we'd do anything for, that would do anything for us.  It's a confusing time right now, but they're all still here and they're not asking questions.  I think it's because we all knew deep down that Kent Diamond was a Goddamn lunatic.  Well, okay, for me it wasn't even deep down, but thing is, he did a lot of good for us all, rescued us when nobody else was there, gave us a home and a family.  He might've been an asshole, and a backstabber, but he was still the one that gathered us all together, whatever his reasons.
But now he's dead.
Austin didn't bother to check before we left, but I did.  I felt for a pulse, and I gotnothin'.  I don't think Sparks cared either way.  All that mattered to him was Amy, and that was that.  He took Kent out without a second thought.  Guess love will make you do shit like that without thinking.  It's a violently gentle emotion, ain't it?  A contradiction in and of itself.  I know it's been screwing with me forever.  Especially when I saw that stupid bitch, Tray Walker.
Fuck.  I wanted to kill that son of a bitch with my bare hands, feel the life drain out of him while I gazed into his eyes and showed him exactly how I felt about what he did to Mireya.  Stupid motherfucker.  But it wasn't my decision.  It was hers.  Beck gave her the knife, and we walked out.  She had blood on her hands when she came out, but not a lot.  I don't know what happened, and she doesn't want to talk about it with anyone.  Not a single soul.
“We can't sit on the side of the highway all day,” Austin warns, but I'm not surewho he's talking to exactly.  He's in charge now, so he better get used to it.
“Okay, Pres,” I say, lifting up my visor and feeling the burn of the sun on my skin.  “So what do you want to do about it?”  Austin gives me a look, blowing out a rush of air like he isn't quite sure he's ready for all this.  I don't tell him, but to me and Beck,he's always been in charge.  He's the only one we've ever really listened to.
“Give her five minutes,” Amy says, so quiet that I almost don't catch her words.  Austin does though.  And he hangs all over them like a kid on the monkey bars.  Jesus.  This boy is so head over heels, it's hard to look at him.  I hope he realizes it.  “I think she needs this.  If you rush her, she'll hang onto the pain.  Let her go for a minute, please?” Amy asks, pressing a kiss to the leather sleeve of Austin's jacket.  His arm curls around her waist protectively, and his eyes soften a bit.  Jesus.
I turn away.  I can't look at that.  Not right now.  I'm jealous, and I don't want to be.  I just want to be happy.  I just want to be with Mireya Sawyer.

Triple M Character Bio

Just because she's a virgin doesn't mean she's innocent.  This sweet, young thing with the hazelnut hair and the blue eyes could read you under the table.  Think of a romance novel, any title, and she'll have read it.  Oh yeah.  She knows things, and she's not afraid to use them on Austin Sparks.  As long as he takes her away from her stifling life and her zealous parents because sometimes, you've got to lose yourself to be free.  And her new favorite word is the F-bomb, thank you very much.

Tattooed, pierced, dirty mouthed, rides a motorcycle.  Need I say more?  Austin Sparks is a member of the Triple M Motorcycle Gang, and he's not afraid to bend the rules – or bend Amy over a pool table.  Yep.  He'll do that, too.  Just don't ask what it is he really does for a living.  That kind of secret's only given out a need to know basis.  But his tattoos?  We can talk all about those.  Just check out the cover.

“Take off your pants,” he says simply and that's it.  I turn around and stare at him, noticing that his eyes are like fire, waiting to wash over me and burn me to ash.
“What?”  Austin grins and pulls out a cigarette, sticking it between his lips and taking off his vest.  He tosses it onto the gravel by the side of the road like we're not out in the middle of the country, like we're right back in that hotel room together with all the privacy in the world.
“Take 'em off.  This is your next lesson.  If you don't wear a skirt, be prepared to take off your pants.  Come on, sugar, let's get to it.  We've gotta hurry before somebody drives by and sees us.”
“You're serious?” I ask him, getting chills and a gut wrenching belly ache.  Oh God, yes.  I can't believe I waited twenty-one years for this feeling.  It's incredible.
“As a heart attack,” Austin says, taking a drag on his cigarette and tossing it to the ground, so he can smash it under his boot.  I nibble my lip for a moment and then start to unbutton my jeans.  Austin's eyes follow the motion and narrow when I pause with the zipper halfway down.
“Take off your shirt,” I command him.  I want to see what's under there.  Three times we've had sex and not once have I gotten to see his chest and belly.  He grins at me and obliges, tearing the black fabric off and tossing it down alongside his vest.
Austin is … Well, GodAustin is ripped.  He's tight and muscular and I can see every muscle in his belly as clear as day.  His skin stretches hot and slick over the firmness of his chest and stomach, dipping into his pants with a sprinkle of sandy hair.  Above his pecs, he's got another skull tattoo surrounded by roses and on either side, a gun pointing inwards.  Sweat glides across the colorful piece of art and gets caught between his muscles, sliding down and soaking into the waistband of his jeans.
I practically tear my boots and pants off in my frenzy to touch him.  I can't wait.
“Panties,” he commands me, and I pause.  Being pants-less in the middle of the road is one thing, but being pantie-less is quite another altogether.
“Austin … ”  He grins at me and reaches down, unzipping his own pants.  My gaze follows his hands involuntarily, mesmerizing me.
“Better hurry before somebody comes along and we get interrupted.”
I swallow and look around, listening for the rumble of cars in the distance and hear nothing except for the droning of the cicadas.  I drop my panties to my feet before I can stop myself and kick them next to my jeans.
“Now, get on the fucking bike,” Austin leans back and flashes me his cock, hard and ready and waiting.  I move forward and climb on so that I'm facing him, trying to move slowly so that I don't seem too eager.  Truth is, I am eager, almost desperate for it.  Three days ago, I was a virgin reading about my favorite heroines being banged in black and white.  Today, I am the heroine, and I can't wait for my turn.  “Now, look at you,” Austin says, voice dropping into this lengthy Southern drawl where every fuckingsyllable is a nightmare of sexual tension, bleeding across my body and making me crazy for it.

Lyon's Way and Night Visits By Jordan Silver

Lyon's Way (The Lyon, #3)
Colton Lyon has just rescued his young lover, his Angel from the clutches of a madman; now all he need do is keep her out of trouble until he gets her to the altar.
Ahh, WELCOME BACK COLTON! We all love these books and every time Jordan Silver announces another one, we jump at the chance to get it!
This one is a short story of sorts. I you read Lyon's Angel than this is the story of what happened between when he rescued Kat from the psycho who kidnapped her to when she goes into labor. Basically any questions that anyone had after the last book.
I have to always say that I again am absolutely in love with Jordan's writing skills and characters. This book was a bit more serious in the writing department and in the series. You saw a side to Lyon that you haven't seen before, the controlling man is back it again and he's taking prisoners. I just keep wanting to go back and reread every last book because I can't seem to get enough.
5 more STARS to Jordan Silver for another exhilarating ride!
 Night Visits
He comes to me in the night; I don't know his name or what he looks like; just his scent, his feel, his touch.

Tamara is a young kindergarten school teacher who has moved to get away from a relationship that went south. She's barely settled into her new home when the visits from her night creeper begins. She knows it's wrong, she senses the danger; but she's never felt anything like this one man can make her feel.

This book is a bit on the Sci-fi side. It modern day so you don't even get into the Sci-fi part until later on in the book. Tamara is a Kindergarten teacher that happens to be quite the little freak. She has conversations with her Ahem Pussy. Yes! I said that. And there convos are ridiculously funny. I couldn't put this book down if I wanted to.
Donovan is the man who always comes to see her. He's been in love with her from afar and they are truly written to be soul mates. He's the part of the book that takes you into the whole Sci-fi aspect. He is human just kind of super-human. Learning about him and who he truly is didn't get weird for me at all and i'm not one to actually fall in love with any paranormal books.
As their relationship grows Tamara hits a big ass bump in the road. Yep, she gets preggers by Donovan and then whisked away to his home. Everything Tamara thought she knew gets completely changed and I loved every secret along the way.
I wouldn't change anything in this book if I wanted to it was absolutely all 4.5 STARS all the way. If you have a wonderful sense of humor than this book is just for you. I have no idea where Jordan comes up with this stuff!

Forgiveness: Alek & Rose By Amanda Keeney

Forgiveness: Alek & Rose (# 1)

Alek and Rose had been best friends for years. They have also been in love with one another for just as long, without letting one another know. A night of celebrations turned out for the worst when Rose leaves without a trace. She is gone for just over a year with no contact with anyone, not even her best friend. No one knows why she left, except one man, who won’t tell anyone for fear of getting himself into more than one kind of trouble.
After losing something precious and undergoing a harsh recovery Rose has returned home to face her demons and finally acknowledge her feelings for Alek, through her loss she realized she needed to live life to the fullest. Her goal when she shows up to town is, to tell Alek the truth of what happened, admit how she feels, and hope that he feels the same way.

Escape into the emotional and turbulent world of Alek and Rose, in the first of four short stories by Author Amanda Keeney. Due to strong sexual content, this story is best enjoyed for those 18+.

This was quite the emotional short story. I didn't think you could put that much emotion into 55 pages, Amanda found a way to do it!

Alek had been in love with Rose since they were kids. He has been broken hearted since the day she left a year ago and not returned. He finally gets his second chance at what he's always wanted when Rose mysteriously calls him one night.

Rose took of after something truly horrible happened to her never to return to the town and man she's always loved. Now after a year of so much agony she returns to try to make amends and tell her side of the story.

I really enjoyed this rad and was so mad that it was over, because every page just kept getting better than the last. I kept trying to figure out what happened to Rose to make her break Alek's heart and you could tell that it was killing her to try to let it out. Alek was so in love with her and it was truly heart-wrenching to have to read Alek's emotions come to the forefront. I definitely give this 4 STARS for the Author's ability to capture and make you wish for more!

Manic (Rook and Ronin #2) By JA Huss

Manic (Rook and Ronin, #2)
TRAGIC is over and Rook is ready for the future—Spencer Shrike and the STURGIS contract!

It’s three months of body art modeling! That means three months of Spencer Shrike’s paintbrush all over her body, three months in front of Antoine’s camera, and three months of twenty-four hour filming for Spencer’s Biker Channel reality show.

Wait a minute…what reality show? Maybe she should’ve read that STURGIS contract a little closer? ;)

Sure, Rook’s bank account is almost overflowing, but Ronin is angry, Clare is trying to escape rehab, Antoine is a worried mess, and Elise is just trying to hold everyone together. Her new family is about to fall apart before she even gets the chance to enjoy them.

Add in a mysterious man from her past, a road trip to the famous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and a final show in front of the entire world where all her good are on display, and you’ve got Manic—a new adult contemporary romance that will definitely make your summer sizzle!

Ahh they're back!!! I know as well as all my readers that Rook and Ronin have to be the hottest modeling couple I know of! I could not wait to get my hands on this ARC and it was so worth the wait....

Now the story picks up right where it left off with Rook agreeing to do the Sturgis campaign. Rook and Ronin are still going strong at this time as well. We all know I can't give you the deets, but how about this....

Rook starts building relationships with the males around her. I loved her character in this book and she came to life. She didn't take anyone's shit and she also knew when it was time to just be quiet. If there was any way to take Rook to the next level the second book most certainly did that. Ronin is dealing with all the new changes in his life, but he really is just in love with Rook and would do absolutely anything for her. We learn there's more than just a pretty face when it comes to Ronin and we learn a lot more about his past demons as well.

You still have Spencer which plays a big part in this book and not just as Rook's painter or artist, he becomes her friend and someone she just of as family. You also meet Ford, whom in my opinion is a douche (haha), but he has a past to him as well and all of what he says and does is with a reason.

Now that Rook has taken on Sturgis and she has 3 incredible men in her life, what will she do? Who will she choose? Gotta pick it up to see!!!!

5 STARS!!!!

Incredible Dreams By S.E. Felida

(Cover is temporary will update soon)

Leona, a woman in her late twenties who has been dreaming about a guy that she doesn’t know finally sees him in real live one day, but she doesn’t approach him out of bizarreness of the whole situation, just seeing him up close and personal made her second guess her own sanity.

When her two friends join her at the table of a terrace where she’s seated, the guy unfortunately had already disappeared into oblivious much too her regret, never the less she and her friends decide to sit there for a little while longer to see if they can catch a glimpse of the guy who’s been haunting Leona’s dreams, if he ever returns.

But he doesn’t, and that leaves her with such an aching feeling in her chest that she can’t seem to shake that feeling of missed opportunity off of her throughout the day, so when faith gives her another chance later on that night, she grabs it with both hands and jumps into a relationship with her dreamguy, neglecting all off the common sense that she might of had before meeting him.

Apart from being the guy who haunted her dreams for a long time, he turned out to be a dreamguy in real live too, except for the age difference that almost drifted them apart for reasons that she really didn’t want to explain to him at first, things were going great between the two them after they got over that bump in the road.

Things were going so great that it even seemed to wonderful to be true and like always it was, because while her life was going great, her best friend Naomi’ s wasn’t and after a while she finds herself in the middle of her best friend and her boyfriend.

For not wanting to choose between the two of them she and her other two best friends Alexandra and Alyssa decide to whisk Naomi away for a little holiday, hoping that after the four of them spend some quality time together things would go back to normal.

The holiday turns out to be a holiday from hell , and when Marcus Naomi’s current boyfriend follows them out there things get a little out of control between Naomi and her friends because of the way she treats them when he’s around and while they had Marcus figured out years ago, Naomi still remains clueless about his antics, even to the point of forgiving him for being the reason that she lost her first job six years ago.

Knowing what they know about him makes it hard for Leona for even wanting to be around him in the first place, and when he confesses something to her that she really wished he hadn’t Leona keeps finding it harder and harder to look her best friend in the eyes without feeling like the worst friend ever.

Leona has a dream about this mystery guy that she just can't get out of her head. Funny thing happens when she see's him across the street while eating at a cafe. Little does she know that not everything is by chance, and that when they do actually come together fate will intervene in ways nobody thought was possible.

Nate is a police officer on the hunt for his brother's killer and doesn't understand why the killer is always ahead of him at every turn. When he's with Leona everything for him feels like it just makes sense. He had things in his life that he doesn't want to deal with.

When Leona and Nate are together it feels like something just wants to tear them apart; even though they have this amazing connection that keeps them steady together. Jealous men and women, friends, and old flames keep trying to ruin what was built between these two and I loved every second of it.

Winter is on the run from none other than her own family. When she finally think she has her life where she wants it, and is working a job she loves, all is thrown away with accepting a job offer her best friend's crush extends to her.

Braxxon was handed his father's MC at a young age and it's all he's ever known. He never expected to go for the stripper who was hired for his birthday, or that so much hurt and loss would come out of him claiming her as his own.

Winter and Braxxon have one of the hardest journey's I have read so far this year. Every time you think it's going to be ok Crystal threw in another curve-ball. I must admit there were a few scenes that I had to just put the book down for a minute, because it's too hard to read things like that. I wanted to scream at someone to just let them be happy! Winter has been dealt a world of loss and it seems like the only way to pull her out of her darkest times is Braxxon. I loved this book and cannot wait for more! 5 Stars around the board for the passion, friendships, hardships, and devastation that Crystal Spears put into this book. Bravo!
